I'm not talking about a dog or cat,

Though they do make good friends.

I'm talking about shoes,

Converse to be specific.

I good them in the beggining of 7th grade.

This years been hard.

They were with me when I need a break,

when I was sad and mad,

happy and glee.

Their white with comic book drawing on them.

At first I didn't like them,

but they grew on me.

I know someday we will part,

when you soles get tore up.

But you stuck with me even through my hardest times,

And I thank you for that.

May your love live on.
