a poem about reality. It's not an easy world to live in. I hope this helps people!

I'm running,

but I don't know why.

I look back,

nobody's behind me.

I only see my reflection,

a fiercer me standing there.

I start to run again,

I hear my reflection run after me.

I look deeper into it,

and see reality.

The confusion,

the hurt.

I look at the world around me,

it's dim and illusive.

I don't know where to run,

this place I stand is cold and confusing.

This place may seem safe,

but it's not.

Reality looks nicer,

The confusion and the hurt,

only lie on the bottom,

yet it seems there on top.

I step into this other world,

where my dark secrets live,

where I'm not heard.

Reality is as good as you get,

nothing is better.

So I'm here now,

the other portal is closed.

No longer can I go run and hide there.

I'm here now,

and that's final.

There's no turning back now.
