This poem is extremely personal for me.
It's about my father. He left my mum before I was ever able to remember him, and recently my mum decided to let me meet him. So I went to his home... And he closed the door on me.
I say this, not for sympathy or pity, so you can all understand the context behind the words.

Relatively abandoned.

The blade of abandonment

Barely chafes my skin,

But the abhorrence and departure

Slowly carves me into a thousand pieces.

The self pity decays

From the inside out

With the departure of you,

Tearing at my head.

The abort of words

Equates to hair.

The contradiction of your own-self.

We are one.

Yet you set side by side

A stranger and myself

No worse so.

You know who I am.

But you do not acknowledge me.

You do not judge,

You just dismiss.

And the world turns still,

Not mine.

But others.

That is the importance.

Ghonesis

The last line was terrific... I also like how you use italics: it's as if you're writing to him.
I'm sorry about the poem's message, though... :$
