Sky Blackwell is moving and she hates it.

She hates it so much that a vow has been made: she will never speak to her parents again and she will hate every living minute of it. No further discussion.

However, Sky wasn't expecting to have someone put things into perspective.

There's Parker Donovan, who is the son of an old family friend who is also funny, good-looking and easy-going and quite honestly a total goof-ball that can make anyone smile. He's really hard to hate, but Sky is trying.

And there's also Sloan Cross, Parker's best friend and his opposite. Sloan is quiet and reserved, thoughtful and quite frankly, very wise. He's really hard to hate when all you seek for is quiet and to stop hearing how fanfuckingtastic everything will be, but then again Sky is head set on hating everything.

Daighton is, after all just a rest stop until college with Ariel, right? Right?
