Ever since I was a little girl I always saw my daddy wearing a military patterned outfit,

I just thought he played in the dirt alot.

Every year my daddy left where I didn't know

The only thing I saw was my mother giving him a kiss on the cheek and wishing him good luck.

Every night before he went wherever he went he always put his way too heavy uniform on me

He always said it was good luck but I didn't get it.

I know that he always came back

But this time he didn't.

My mother cried and cried and cried

Is there something wrong I asked myself?

Well the truth is that my daddy is gone and I will never see him again.

We went to some kind footbal field with some white boxes lined up

All of them had the American Flag on it Just like my daddy's uniform.

My daddy is dead they defeted him

Maybe one  day Ill die too and see him again.
