Another poem from class, inspired by my girl

I don't understand why she's so cruel

Who cares if her daughter is gay?

It has nothing to do with school

Where all she does is learn all day

I hold her while she cries

And while she spills her guts.

All her mom does it tell lies

Doesn't listen to her ifs, ands, or buts.

Her mom tries to keep us apart

No matter how much she screams.

She will always have my heart

Because she is the girl of my dreams.

I want her to know that I love her,

And that I can assure.
