A Soft Pitter Patter

We stand alone; arms linked,
An abandoned desert highway,
His hand rest softly upon my cheek,
Wiping away the tears

Arms wrenched apart,
He turns away,
A whispered goodbye,
Leaving with a soft pitter patter
