Close your eyes, and rest your guilty concience
Silence your feelings with denial
Tell yourself what you want to hear
The morning light will reveal your shadow of lies

Walk around with your head held high
But look out for thoughts of me in the sky
Your so bold, so strong, so wrong

You have made it through another day
Lieing to yourself, trying to forget what you threw away

Should have given it a chance
