Poetry

Pinpoints of white diamond light

Against a sky of velvet night

Tracing lines to pattern make

My mind away it can take

Away the pain --- sharp and sweet

Full of sorrows and passions heat

Away the scalding, salty tears

Away the paralyzing fears

Offer the simple ache of joy

And tender kisses, not a ploy

Bring me sweet serenity

Away the pain of being me.

I'm still adding more as I pull them from my personal journal. I'm glad you like this one. It's the only one I've ever written that I actually like.

This one is a good poem. Short simple and sweet. Your attempt to make it rhyming is remarkable. A good one - I would say.

Thank you, Lucy. Not all poetry rhymes :) But this one is really the only one I've written that I love. I'm gonna look through your story that you recommended as soon as I have some time, but I'm at work at the moment.
