Mushroom Folly

Poem by: HonestyAndCapacity

Summary

Just for the record, I never did shrooms; but I'd thought it would be cool if I wrote about some of the experiences I've heard of.

Who knew a fungus could Illuminate wild, false perception in my brain? Tsunamis of sound drown me Like an eternal sea of honeybees Invading my body. Colors unseen by bare eyes, Greet me as if we were companions. Universal intelligence produces an Awe inspiring song, which plucks my Heart strings like gentle fingers upon an eager harp. I recline on my sofa, looking at the images That speak, dance, and teach life with Their abstract methods.
