When silence arrives,

It quells all sound;

Yet at the same time,

Delivers an loud quietness.

It brings about terror in

Nefarious environments, or it can chant a peaceful song

When exposed to lovely beaches.

Silence is neither somber nor bright,

Nor anything in between.

It is a translucent noise that radiates itself

With a chime as soft as nothingness;

Silence possesses the only voice that

At the moment it's heard, can be heard

From this universe and beyond.
