Somewhat inspired by Brian Adam's song "Here I Am" which, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful songs of all time.

For what it's worth

you can have my heart

that poor broken thing

damaged so many times

even I cant find all the pieces.

For what it's worth

you can have my smile

I don't want to smile any more

when I'm crying inside

but I pledge a smile for you.

For what it's worth

you can have my body

I never liked it much

for all men drool over it

I hope it gives you joy.

For what it's worth

you can have my eyes

I see only pits of sadness

pain echoing around inside

blue as a mermaids tears.

For what it's worth

take my strength of mind

I could never use it for any good

and for all purposes

it seems to have left me now.

For what it's worth

take all of me

leave me nothing left

I'm only wasting away

take me before I'm fully useless, sick, irreparable.

Because, for what it's worth,

some parts of me already are.
