A beautiful sunset of reds, pinks, and orangessweeping across the deep sky, turning the reflection on the water a crimson red. Two hands entwined together watching the sunset on the beach, waves crashing onto the shore. Pale, limpid blue eyes staring into mine, then looking out into the sea. Looking into those blue eyes, I see the happiness and joy that replaced the sorrow and pain. Memories of us laying under the stars, warm wind blowing through our hair, caressing our skin. Our lips touching frantically as if we would never see each other again. Sitting at the beach, watching the sunset, arms tightly around me, never letting go for the fear of losing me. We get up and start to dance in each others arms, looking into each others eyes.Wow was all I could think of. The sand was warm beneath our feet as we are holding hands and walking, the sun going down little by little, still enjoying the colors in the sky. When we stop walking we run into the water, our once entwined hands letting go, and splash each other and start to laugh. Excitement coursing through our viens. My heart racing with every smile, every laugh. As we get tired, we walk back to our blanket and lay down. The sun finally set, the stars finally coming out, twinkling. Deep down inside asI look up at the starsI think to myself, I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight.
