I knew from the moment we met,

Your eyes deep,

Your heart shallow,

That for you every night I'd weep.

But really it's shame on me,

For thinking it would ever work,

for wishing the impossible,

and for cryign when it didn't work.

You flew me around the earth,

From paris to berlin,

From rome to home,

But still I knew you were trouble from the moment you walked in.

Your hair like silk,

Your lips addictive,

Your heart like stone,

Your emotions restrictive.

I knew

I knew

That you'd never leave me safe and sound.
