The reindeer's black fur

Is torn and bruised

His eyes glimmer with

The red of pain

And he crys ink tears

That melt the holy white snow

His body is melting

Slowly

Dripping into the frost terrain

With a final bleat to the whispy air

Ink pours from his mouth

His scars

His eyes

His heart
