I sit her and paint over my life
with white out
Trying to erase all the mistakes

The years wasted too afraid to make the move
or too sick to change my life

The music plays behind me
fuleing me
time for a drastic change

Scissors in hand
i raise my hand to my long hair
some call it blonde and beautiful
all it is a false security

Crunch

The scream of strands
as they are sperated from the rest

But only in my dreams could I be so brave

To reach out
and say I want to know you
touch you

I am sinking quietly back into my fear
the one place I feel safe
