As I walk along the dusty road,

The clouds are dark and grey.

The air is thick and humid,

The storm is on it's way.

The wind picks up,

The thunder bangs.

I shouldn't be outside.

After all,

There is a storm.

The beast will not subside.

The wire fence rattles and shakes like an earthquake,

The animals make loud noises.

The rain starts to bucket down,

Turning the dust to mud.

I dash inside and slam the door,

I can hear the beasts mighty roar.

The wind is wailing,

The thunder booming,

The lightening crashing.

As I lay still in my house,

I shake and tremble with fear.

All of a sudden everything is quiet.

The beast has subsided.
