WOKE UP

Woke up this morning,

Pain in my head.

Don’t wanna move

To frightened I maybe dead.

Opened up the curtains,

Now I’m blind to what’s been said.

Please let me stay

In my nice warm bed.

Walk into the bathroom;

Spray on my feet.

Look into the mirror

Your lipstick on my face.

You say you no longer love me,

My heart jumps a beat,

Then you give me a kiss

Leaving this birthmark on my cheek.

The pains moved down my body;

My hearts taken wings.

I have no use for feelings

As my voice no longer sings.

Sit down, pull on my socks;

Wrong colour shoes.

My cereals going soggy,

The toast has turned to coal.

Kettle keeps on whistling

But I don’t know the tune.

I go back upstairs

To my nice warm bed.
