Summary

Written: January 29th, 2013

Meaning: I wrote this just now to put a smile on someone's face. Of course, like just about all my writing, it's metaphorically written. It represents the beginnings of a new romantic interest and my curiosity about her.

Diving into the deep blue in search of something new to invoke joy within the heart of this boy was a task he knew had been long overdue.

Swimming near the ocean floor was something his eyes could not ignore. A curiosity he must sate so he sank lower to investigate, but what was in store he had never seen before.

Lying in wait was something he could only equate to a mermaid as she frolicked and played, holding a shiny pearl. He thought, "Who is this girl?"

Little did he know, his simple “Hello” would spark in her a dance of playful romance. She felt his desire for her transpire, so she offered him a chance to join her with an alluring glance.

He said to her, “The hope you’ve bestowed upon me… makes me feel free, but I have one question. What of this shiny pearl in your possession?”

“Tis for thee to see and freshen thy progression” she replied with a smile applied.

He did not understand, but took her hand and they danced while entranced.
