words are only as good as arms length

and submerged in what the memories meant

and what the concrete messengers failed to send

as horizons against time stitch past and futures, mend

and eyelids cascade lights treachery

as my palms rust against litany

and the visage washes ashore

and they rummage amongst the synaptic core

And they will find nothing!

nothing but time racing against a living  bludgeon

or the last visages of mad men that can in fact function

amongst the flayed vocal cords

as my thoughts detritus break away black boards

I told you before I am Not You!

as litmus hulked about and grew

with the original synapse which withdrew

drippy birds amongst metallic verbs

as eye lids burst open and thirst the words
