Well it's a poem, and it's really um...it's hard to find the right words but like all my poems, it's real. It's based on real events and everything. Enjoy ^.^

A cape is shielding me, keeping me down,

I want to escape, I want to make some noise,

Make a sound,

This isn’t the way it should be, this isn’t right,

Why did I go down without a fight?

All I wanted to do was play a simple game,

But there it was just not the same,

I’m a girl, they’re boys, but what difference does it make?

Do they really keep us apart for “safety’s” sake?

They’re my friends, and you’re keeping me away,

It’s like separating a mother from her child,

You don’t do it. You have to let me stay,

I am not what you think, kind, sweet and mild,

Is me butting you out of the way such an offense?

Or is it simply soccer’s defense?

An invisible line is drawn, with an unknown marker,

They have no problem with me being around,

What do you have the say? My opinion of you only gets darker,

Darker and darker, with everything I’ve found,

How can anyone actually live with this?

What kind of rule is this?
