Uhh...so this is a poem. Duh. And it's sort of a poetic version of either writer's block or teen angst...which is sort of odd. But oh well. I hope you guys enjoy it!

The colors are swirling all around,

Inside my mind, they are bound,

Colors that can’t be drawn out,

Colors that are what this is all about,

Beats drum inside my head,

They bring me to paths untread,

Beats that paper won’t show,

So in my mind I will stow,

***

For the first time I can’t write it,

For the first time I can only feel it,

I have to say that I don’t like it,

***

Tears that words can’t capture,

The un-recordable sounds of laughter,

All must be kept safe inside yourself,

On the top of your mind’s shelf,

It’s never worth it to forget,

From your first breakup to the red sunset,

***

Keep it safe, keep it secret, and don’t write,

For some things are only clear in your own sight,

Others don’t get what you're saying,

And for that the price you are paying,

So keep it safe, keep it secret, and don’t write,

For some things are only clear in your own sight,
