To stop the mushroom from saying such oddities,
And continue on with his fascinating stories,

Ok, this is in answer to Alice's challenge. My words were:
Scintillate
Saxapone
Orison
Bosom
Noxious
Concuct

My subject was: A mushroom
And my setting was: A shoe

I also had to do a metaphore, mine was: her keys were shinning stars.

Today I found a mushroom in my shoe,

If that’s not strange enough, guess what it did.

It started to talk, to laugh, to smile too,

And this is what it said:

I’m married to a saxophone, a very pretty girl,

However, the very sound of her makes me want to hurl,

Oh how I long to be by her side, to touch her fair bosom,

I of course, proceeded to try and stop him,

To stop the mushroom from saying such oddities,

And continue on with his fascinating stories,

He said that his only orison was to be by her side,

By his dearest saxophone, his one and only wife,

He said her keys were shinning stars,

He said he’d search for her, near and far

Then I had to stop the mushroom from saying such oddities,

And continue on with his fascinating stories,

The day they met, the mushroom recalled,

Was the day he falled,

The day he falled for his lovely saxophone,

There he was, sitting on a stone,

All quite, all shy, all alone,

When he saw her, cooking, singing as well,

He said “That was the very second I fell”

She offered him a taste of the stew she’d concocted,

He was overjoyed, for his great luck,

That’s when I had to stop the mushroom from saying such oddities,

And continue on with his fascinating stories,

They got married just two days after that moment,

Running away from their parents and their torment,

Though they lived in a dark, smelly forest,

Their life was anything but noxious,

I was fascinated with his stories but,

Nothing could be so strange, this was just fluff,

I had to stop the mushroom from saying such oddities,

And continue on with his fascinating stories,

That’s when the mushroom said, his tale was done,

That this had been quite a lot of fun,

But he had to depart; he had to be by her side,

His fair saxophone he had to find,

With her lovely stew and her scintillate eyes,

With a nod he said “Well my friend, this is goodbye”
