You’re my smile, my laugh,

To hold me up, you’re my staff,

The sweetness on my tongue,

My heart’s pericardium*,

When I talk about you,

There’s always a smile, good and true,

When I talk about you,

I develop a bad case of Pleonasm,

I become the most avid talker the world has seen,

When I talk about you,

There’s a twinkle in my eye,

One that no one can deny,

Do you know?

How much you’ve affected me?

How every day is full of alacrity?

Do you know?

Do you really know?

The sincere eyes,

The winsome smile,

The number I always dial,

The way you hold my hand,

The way you help me stand,

Only once, I’ll tell you this,

You don’t want to miss this,

By your side, I’ll never leave,

You, I’ll always go and retrieve,

Adamant are my feelings,

My heart is what you’re stealing.

You're my heart,

You stole it from the start,

You're my song,

My right, my wrong,

The best thing of all time,

Is that you are mine.

*Pericardium is something that surrounds the heart and protects it from decease and other things like that.
