‘Tis no greater sorrow
Than to traverse this sullen path
Without the warmness of your presence
To feel deep in my marrow
Your constricting grasp over me you hath
And yet dwindle in my silence
Longing for the imperfections
My heart so desperately desires
Forth which my eyes convey
The only truth my observations
Raging from the core the fires
Brightest of all that may
Your light ever flickers
On the farthest horizon
Never faltering in my eyes
This my soul screams
Praising your being on and on
Seen only as little white lies
The only thing more valuable than life
A gift I wish bestowed
Is a glimpse from my eyes
An image sharp as a knife
Of beauty long foretold
Truly that legend never dies
