Cried Myself To Sleep

I cried myself to sleep last night, my pillow it was soaked,

so many conflicting pressures that I really have no hope.

It builds from one direction, then swoops in from another,

any type of sanity, determined now to smother.

Can’t let go, can’t lose control, cannot let it out

when inside my head is screaming, telling me to shout.

Each time I’m losing more of me, getting more and more depressed;

there simply is no answer, so I’ll just be staying stressed.

My pillow lets me sob in peace, takes in my silent scream,

until I find my way to that resuscitating dream.
