Granite And Marshmallow

To make things clear this is talking personalities, not physical attributes. There are more than enough places to go if that’s your kind of thing.

So having made that clear, we will turn to him, and I can safely say that he is hard, like granite. Have you ever picked up a stone that has been laying in the sunshine? It’s still retained its coolness. And yet there is something reassuring about that solidity combined with the smoothness. A feeling of reliability, of permanence.

She, on the other hand, is soft and squishy, malleable. She’ll manoeuvre herself to a shape to make a perfect fit. She is pretty much all give, while he does not give at all.

The problem is, just like those mallows, too much can be kind of sickening. An over-load of sugar always leads to a come-down at some point or other.

Then he’ll walk away.
