Hop, Hop, Pop!

“Here it is, the very first one, armed and ready to go.” The man in the white coat holds out a tiny silver colored frog. It is really quite beautiful in a cold kind of way, so long as you remain oblivious to its true purpose.

A little tiny innocuous frog, remote controlled from a distance. It’s movements silent; nobody would notice one of them as they hopped around inside packed venues, conference rooms. It’s blue eyes became the eyes of the operator who could see when it had gained the desired position. A simple press of a switch, a pop, and BANG! An unexpected explosion, the like of which had never been seen before.

“How many do we have ready?” the man in the suit asked.

“By the end of the day there will be 500, armed and ready to be put into action.”

“Good, that’s excellent.” The man in the suit studied the controller, looked at the frog, then looked up as his seven year old son pushed through the door.

“That’s so cool, Dad. Let me see!”

Pushing forward he knocks his father’s hand which knocks a button. 450 frogs, all in range – hop, hop, pop, BOOM!
