In my free time, I am dedicated to spread awareness to human trafficking. It is a horrible thing that happens to people. They are sold, beaten, raped, and other unimaginable things. This poem is for you, who no longer have a voice.

I am in the worst place,
Created by a thousand tears,
No one can see my shame,
Been lost for so many years.

What is going on?
There is no more light or sound,
Not a single whisper or song,
Losing weight by the pound.

Screaming inside my head,
Can not bear this anymore,
As I drown days in this bed,
My skin feels so sore.

I am in the worst place,
Created by a thousand tears,
No one can see my shame,
Been lost for so many years.

Here he comes down,
Farther into his lair,
My head starts to spin around,
Drugs this time, how rare.

Waking up I feel distorted,
But I feel him in my area,
I am a broken ship at port,
Here comes the hysteria.

I am in the worst place,
Created by a thousand tears,
No one can see my shame,
Been lost for so many years.

A hard slap hits my face,
It seems he wants me quiet,
I just want him out of my space,
Especially since I'm forced into silence.

Tonight I am sad to say I will be dead,
I remember being brave, only a lie,
Seeing it in these evil eyes,
This is my last goodbye.

I am sorry Mom and Dad,
For running so far away,
Wish I could take it all back,
But now I am here to stay.
