In White
A vision approached, a distant view,
a magnificent horse, so white;
and on his back he bore someone,
a beauty of some delight.
Her dress was like a wedding gown,
but a groom she was without;
the men were really spell-bound
but the women felt much doubt.
She passed along the village street,
smiling at all she saw;
if she even noticed
she ignored the slam of door.
She continued to a meadow,
where the grass was really sweet;
her horse could graze to it’s fill
while she’d wait for who she’d meet.
Someone was sure to follow her,
and he would be her groom;
he’d be so entranced that he
would be led blindly to his doom.
She waited and she watched,
of patience she had plenty,
but the time was moving forward
and the road it still was empty.
Time to get a move on then,
she’d go on to the next town;
a groom would be there waiting,
for fate would not let her down.

A sweetly wicked piece! The power of an enchantress, but it seems this one's power is waning.
