Whispers

Will you miss them?

Those whispered words

that I sent your way.

On the breeze,

through the trees,

they always found their way.

Hush, and try to hear me now,

my voice has faded, gone.

Was it ever there, all along?

The love I felt,

so always true,

but not reciprocated...

by you.

You did not hear my cry of pain,

too wrapped in your own world again,

to hear my silent whispers.

Thanks, Mike. Not personal, just words that popped in to my head.

Someone did not have their call for attention reciprocated but still tender to the heart.

Nicely written. Sometimes I feel you are a medium writing for someone who has no ways of communicate. Everyone is different. But you speak well for them.

I find writing easier than talking, that's for sure. Thanks for reading, Derina.
