World Cup Fever.

Well, it’s blasting out from the televisions all around the neighbourhood and outside all the pets are yawning. No chance of a walk, no chance of a treat, not until the match is over.

Rufus came up with the idea. The Canine Capers versus the Feline Flingers. Not too hard to come up with a ball, and there are plenty of abandoned lawns.

They toss it around, backwards and forwards, using their feet and their noses. Nobody scores but just before the final whistle goes for the real match, Rufus takes a shot.

The Canine Capers are going to win by a goal and are already starting to celebrate when Feline Flinger goalie,

Felix takes a flying leap...

and....

what a save!

A nil – nil draw but none of them care as the sound of food bowls being filled replaces the commentary.
