I am impotent
But you are exacting; keep pushing
keep heavying my haul
And expect me to go on.

I am shrieking in silence.
You see, but dont.
You put more misery on my back
and whip my sandpaper skin.

You watch strawberry glaze pour from wound
And bark what an abomination I am.
As I fall to my knees,
Begging silent pleas
You strike me down.

For the love of God let me be weak
Let me end my suffering, and rest in my tomb.
I'm a voiceless songbird caught in a storm
My clipped wings no help to save me from death

Where is my oracle,
My zeal to carry on?
I've lost my innocence,
Please let me be weak.

Please, for once

just let me be weak.
