Why is it that I can never see the light?

Is it because I have such a dark heart

Or because the evil inside won the fight

The way ahead is marred by thoughts of lust

For which I have no control at all

And I must enact my thoughts lest I rust

My home is dark, cold and unfurled

With the smell of oils and discharge

As I am first in line to exit this world

I await my time at the head of the queue

For in an instant my birth will be over

And with it, comes death to all of you

My insides are fluttering with anxious await

As the bringer of life is prepared to disgorge

My mechanical mother of choice knows my fate

The instant I live I see a glimpse of rushing light

Then a blinding sear of heat as a tornado spins

The air cooling the heat of my birth as I take flight

I rush as I die and my point flattened on bone

As I rush inside another to inflict death

The life that was, is ended with me all alone

I miss my home among my brothers and peers

The feel of copper on copper taken for granted

But I always knew I was born to create fears

To inflict the upmost destruction and racket

No care if the dead is man or woman or child,

For I am God, wrapped in a full metal Jacket
