The morning comes
And there it is
A great big red pulsating,
Gooey yellow squashy
Out comes the soap and water
Then the Topex,
To satisfy mum, A steam bowl
And then comes the final assault!
Yardley Oat Meal!
When all fails you revert
To mums greedy fingers.
You can feel it oozing down your cheek!
She wipes the gloop,
And squeezes again
And says “it’s just blood now”
But you know, the fight has just begun.
