Time runs fast

Around the face

It’s not supposed to last

But it’s not really a race

Age is measured

In days and years

It should be always treasured

At the end with tears

Growth is defined

But not by nature

As it should be of the mind

And not pertaining to stature

Are feelings emotions?

Or a reflection of self!

As they cause such commotions

And are bad for one’s health

Is Love for everyone?

When it’s easy to hate!

Lust is much more fun

And easier to sate

One thing is certain

To draw ones last breath

Close over the curtain

That one thing is death
