Lacrosse is a rush

its more than a sport

its more than a game

its a way of life

I feel addicted

I love to play

I need to play

the experience

to be on the field

to score a goal

to win a game

to have it all on the line

all on your shoulders

the weight of the game

resting in your heart

to see if you have what it takes

to overcome

to succeed

to persevere

and to play with finesse

when it really matters

I love it

I love the pressure

I love the atmosphere

its amazing

its the greatest day of my life,

everyday I step onto the field.

I belong on the field,

and I wont leave.

however,

nothing lasts for ever

I know it will come to an end,

the season will be over before I know it

my sticks will go back onto the wall.

to wait,

and wait,

for another chance

to play the game

that I love so much.
