An attempt at something different. It's difficult for me to break rhyme and meter, so I wanted to see what would happen.

I am the spark of light in an endless darkness.
The candle of hope in a nightscape of despair.
I am the point where worlds touch, where good
meets evil - the center of the universe.
I am with you always. When your spirit soars in
joy I anchor you to the ground below. And while
you drown in misery I am your life line. I connect
your wild rage to the serenity of calm. I am the
wings which give you the joy of flight. Wings, made
from the black souls of murderers. I am the little
voice of reason that whispers arson into your
thoughts. I am here to nudge you from the straight
and narrow, to open the world for you. It is me
that you always seek to cage, as I drag you to the
windy cliff, hand in hand with exultation and
terror.
Let yourself go - live the world, forget the
consequences. Your rewards shall be as incandescent
as your life shall be short.
Oh, but we shall have so much fun together.
