A Time of Darkness: The Hero's
Part One: A Time for Regret

“There is a time for everything, a time for anger, for forgiveness, a time for sadness and even a time for celebration. A place for darkness and light, most especially there is a time for regret. This is the hardest time. It is when we must forgive ourselves for mistakes when it is too late to go back. This is difficult, but when it consumes that is when the worst happens. Don’t regret too much time, or everything else will pass you by.”-BLM

Part Two: True Family

“A normal friend is someone who is there for you when it suits both parties. They will help you only if it benefits them. They like you, but won’t disrupt their life for you. A true friend is someone who takes the time to be there for you even if it’s not in their best interests. They are good to have especially in times of need, but they aren’t family. There will be times where they won’t care because their problems are more prominent than your own. Family is made up of people you can trust with your life. Even at your worst they will love you and try to help. Even if they are having bigger problems they won’t let you down. These people are not necessarily blood, and most times they aren’t. You will know family when you have it, but sometimes they won’t know you till much later. When it does happen a bond is formed that can never be broken. Feel blessed if you have this. Cradle and care for it with your life. Most people never get that gift.”-BLM

Part Three: Into the Darkness

“He was beautiful, tempting and deadly. The aura he gave off was not for the light-hearted nor easily tempered. He was the dominator of any room he entered, and tonight made no exceptions to that rule. He was the one you looked over your shoulder for and hoped wasn't there. He was the boogey man in the dark, the thing under your bed, the monster in your closet. He was the living embodiment of what children feared most. He was what everyone kept hidden deep down inside themselves and never showed for fear of society's retribution. He was Death, he was Pain, he was Sin, he was Pleasure and most of all he was Danger.” –BLM

Part Four: Rise from the Darkness

“In the Darkest hour there is only one certainty, it can only get brighter. When the sun is out and the moon and stars no longer shine, a candle in the Darkness can be a shining beacon for the entire world to look for. No matter how small it may seem, when it’s the only light left it is the strongest, and burns the brightest. This is hope in the middle of despair, belief in the middle of doubt, friendship when one seems surrounded by enemies. Truth can be hidden in the Dark, and only revealed by the gathering of others to make it burn brighter.”-BLM

A Time of Light: The Elves

Part One: Destiny

“People often mistake themselves to be ‘good’ or ‘evil’ thinking it is their ‘fate’ or ‘destiny’ to be kind or cruel to those around them. The truth is there is no ‘fate’ and most times the only ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ a person can do is in the eyes of mankind itself. Without the laws there might be chaos, we may have to defend ourselves against the unthinkable, but isn’t the same true even with the laws? It often seems harder to defend ones self with the laws in place. Is it mankind that is the one who creates it out of its nature, or is it the nature of choice? We wanted choice since the Garden of Eden, with choice comes consequences. It is here that ‘morals’ come to exist.”-BLM

Part Two: End of The World

“Who decides when it is the end of the world? Is it you? Is it me? Perhaps it is whatever God or Devil we worship? Does it really matter? The truth is not likely as simple as you may think. The world to us only exists as long as we do, and Death comes as a thief in the night to us all. We never know when it will come for us, and neither does anyone else until we are gone. Some of us grow to accept this as an inevitability, other fight to make each day longer through certain foods or exercises, but no one can change when they die, nor how. There are those who live to be over a hundred and never lift a finger to make it so, and those who at the peek of health are struck down by a car with a drunk driver inside. These are our fates. Our destiny. So then the world as we know it has ended hundred upon thousands of times for hundreds of thousands of people. This is the truth, every day is the end of the world for someone, why not celebrate for the rebirth that every minute gives it?”-BLM

Part Three: Into the Darkness

“When we believe the world is going to end, no matter who we are, we want only the best for those we love. To think that we could leave them behind wondering how we felt about them is something we just can’t fathom. So what do we do? We make amends. We beg forgiveness, but most of all we give more of ourselves in those last few seconds we think we have then we ever will in our entire lives.” BLM
