Elena Siletz had a happy mundane life until she finds herself thrown into an uncanny world where birthstones represent what kinds of powers people can posses.

Elena Siletz, born in September – birthstone: sapphire –leads a joyful life with her grandparents and believes she is blessed with happiness. But, her happiness shatters into a plethora of pieces when she discovers an old orphanage certificate. The situation continues to deteriorate when Elena’s loving grandmother suffers an unexpected heart-attack and passes away. Suffering from melancholy and gloom, Elena closes her eyes to make sense of what has been happening to her life.

Elena opens her eyes to find herself in a different world named Terentia, which is named after a guardian angel. When she first arrives in the mythical world, Elena makes a new friend named Esmond Ezrala, who was born in July- ruby. Coincidently, his name comes from the word meaning “guardian.” While staying in Terentia and hoping to somehow return back to her own world, Elena learns that she is not a normal person. She can control and manipulate water/ice with the power of her sapphire birthstone, just like how Esmond can manuipulate fire. Elena also begins to learn how dangerous! it is to be living in Terentia at this time – especially if the natives find out she is from another world. Can Elena Siletz stay in disguise and find a way return to her world? Would she really want to go back despite her growing affection for Esmond.

Imagine a bizarre, hidden world where magic is real and mythical creatures come to life. The story is filled with new definitions of birthstones and implication of angelology and a timid love the main characters begin to develop
