I am

I am a teen and a son

I wonder what life would be like if he lived

I hear him saying good morning and night to me

I see him in my dream talking to about life

I want him stay and not leave me

I am a teen and a son

I pretend to hug him with all the stars around shining

I feel lonely and gloomy with out him

I touch his rough hand like stone of old

I worry for me cause he is not here

I cry on night when I look up into the stars and think of him

I am a teen and a son

I understand he is gone but never forgotten

I say he watches me from the stars

I dream of seeing him and talking to me

I try to hide my sorrow that never works

I hope of one day walking in the cloud with my father

I am a teen and a son
