Author's Note: Short chapter on purpose
When seven arrived, I was outside in the woods. I wasn't exactly dressed up. Just jeans and a white button down shirt. I had roses in my hand. I never knew if she liked flowers or not nor did I really care. I was leaning against a tree waiting for her. The door to her cottage suddenly opened and she stepped out into the night. She had on a black strapless dress with a silver neckalace around her neck. Her hair was loose down her back and wavy. She had dark eye liner going around her eyes. She closed the door to the cottage and smiled at me. "You're early." She said. I got away from the tree and walked over to her. I held the roses out towards her. She looked at them and then back at me.
"I-I can't." She said. "If I touch them, they'll die." I raised my eyebrow. "My dad is the god of death. My power is death. I'm death. What do you expect?" She asked. "I'm sorry, I didn't know." I said. She smiled and took the roses in her hand. They immediatley drooped over and became a pale red color. She plucked one from the bunch and threw the rest on the ground. She placed the dead rose in her hair and smiled at me.
"You look beautiful." I smiled at her. "So where are we going?" I asked. She shook her head. "No where, we're going to stay in the woods and talk and I'll show some of my powers." I was perfectly fine with that. "Okay, may I see one right now?" I asked. She nodded. She looked up into the sky, Her eyes became black. Her feet lifted from the ground as a low rumble of thunder approached. Her arms reached up the sky and a gush of wind followed by pound of rain came down. Holy fuck. I smiled as I looked up at her. The rain poured vigorously. Her feet was suddenly being sat down on the ground again. The rain stopped and the wind stopped. Her eyes turned back to normal as she looked to me.
"So, you're like storm from x men?" She chuckled and then shrugged. She leaned against the tree and smiled at me. I couldn't help it anymore. I walked over to her and her smile slowly turned to a frown. I placed my hands on both sides of her. "Shh. Just relax." I whispered. She shook her head. "Don't kiss me Aidan. You'll die." I leaned over and softly pressed my lips against hers. And that's when everything went black.
