Love Everlasting

She was perfect, her hair was the color of golden sunshine and her eyes were the color of the summer sky a blue I could stare into for hours and hours. I left her in the airport for the months that were sure to be the worst time of my entire life. When I hugged her goodbye after shaking my father's hand and kissing my mom's cheek, we kissed intensely and broke apart each silently wishing the other love. "Tyson promise you will call me" she had tears sliding down her cheeks and it hurt me to see her so sad "Ashley I will call you every chance I get" we hugged each other again as we heard the announcement that my plane was boarding "Mom, Dad, I'm going to miss you guys" I pulled them both into one last hug and then turned to my sister and her family "Teagen I'm going to miss you so much even that snobby attitude you have" she slapped me lightly on the shoulder and smiled even though I could see the tears welling in her eyes. I took my nephew out of her arms "you know Jaden I'm going to miss you most of all you know that right little buddy?" his little head nodded rapidly and he smiled and hugged me around the neck. "And you Enzo you better take care of my sister or I might just have to come back and beat your ass" Enzo laughed and smiled "you know I think you could now but I remember the little shorty you used to be" I smiled and pulled him into a hug. Enzo had been my best friend since I was ten and when we turned nineteen he had asked my twin sister for her hand in marriage, she obviously said yes since they had been dating for six years. "Well I got to get on this plane" as I turned and put my cap on I felt a hand on my shoulder "Ty no matter what I'll be here when you get back" I smiled and walked into the security area waving goodbye to my family, I was about to get on a plane to Afghanistan.
