Oh my true love, where hast though departed?

Has though abandoned me, and left me to die?

For I knew not that if I did not turn to you, your heart would die.

I came to my senses and realized that I could not let your heart be passed.

So I went after you, but could not think of what I should have uttered.

I was not able to show you, that without you, my heart would give up and cry.

So now I go on in living with my heart, every now and then giving a sigh.

I ask myself, could it be possible to save us, the broken hearted?

Therefore, I gather myself and I prepare myself to tell you I love you.

I pray to the Lord for help to tell you my heart.

I await for the day when you shall come, and we’ll grab onto each other, never to part.

My hope is that you will still love me as much I love you too.

I cannot see how you could refuse, but I can only desire,

That you my dear and I would come together and say “I love you and I will not tire.”
