I'm not sure what I see
Who you are or these things you tell me
or even if what you speak is truth
Do you love as I do?
Could you feel my sorrow as if it belonged to you?
I'm not sure what to believe
What you say or how I seem to percieve
and overcomplicate your words
Do I give everything away?
I cherish every moment with you; every day
I'm tired of playing this game
Whether you should call out my name
as I speak these words to you under the brazen moon
But isn't that the nature of things?
Though I shouldn't allow you to pull my strings
I'm pained, but I'm content
and though I wish it wasn't what you meant
when you said that you love us both the same
Dare I ask for more?
I don't want to screw things up, as I always have before
I'm here for you if you come back
if you need me- or accept me for all that I lack
but I would understand competely
But could you concur?
If I told you that I would be happy, even if you chose her
