If I could just give it away
To save another innocent life
Even though it's comparative to a day
in a decade
If I could just give it away
Everything might be okay
If only for someone I don't know

If I could just surpress my greed
Let go of my prized possession
Even though it's comparative to a seed
in a forest
If I could just surpress my greed
Perhaps I wouldn't need
As much as I currently do

If I could let it all slide
Let the weight ease off my shoulders
Even though it's comparative to a ride
in an amusement park
If I could let it all slide
Maybe I wouldn't have lied
To keep ahold of it

If I could be everything I wanted to be
Instead of trying to please everyone
Even though it's comparative to a leaf on a tree
in a jungle
If I could be everything I wanted to be
I wouldn't have to say these things for you to see
You are my prized possession
