The early morning

Day-star

Danced on the

Morning dew, twinkling like mystical

Diamonds

-

_____________________________________Swoosh,

-

The heavy

Satin of the young girl’s

Dress

Whispered to the

Forest, to the___________________________-Birds and the wood nymphs

-

“Klara,” the

Forest beckoned,

Calling the girl by the name she

Hadn’t heard since the

Night of the____________________________Flight

-

Klara panted, clutching her

Stomach, catching her

Breath

-

“Please, stay with me, my

Child,” the girl pled, voice soft with

Affection, feeling a_______________________-Kick in

Reply

We cannot be

Late,” she murmured on

Tenterhooks

-

Bare feet on damp

Moss, plump cheeks

Flushed from

Fatigue, raven hair

Stuck to

Temples, moth beating against

Candlelight inside

Ribcage

-

In the distance, the girl caught a

Glimpse of the

Palace, her beacon of_____________________-Hope

-

Greeted by a

Man in blue by the

Palace, who held the white

Door for her, no whispers or________________-Stares

-

Inside the

Palace of Hope, she

Ascended the

Staircase, heart beating like the

Wings of a

Butterfly

-

The woman in red, all smiles,

Escorted her to the

Room of Hope, to the nine

Girls with satin

Dresses just like her

Own, hiding the_________________________Disgrace beneath

-

The prince, dressed in

White, paced up and down the

Aisle of disgrace-bearing girls, glancing up as

Klara united with

Them

-

A minute passed, then

Ten, before the prince stopped in

Front of

Her, saying,_________________-You, the girl with the cerulean eyes and the

__________________________Raven tresses, I choose

__________________________You as my

__________________________Intended.”
