This is a poem I wrote about a horse I used to ride and how he made me feel.

We flew.

You and I,

Our hearts beating like wings in the air

I swear we never touched the ground.

We were one.

We breathed as one,

We thought as one

We moved as one.

We were indestructible.

Even though mine was broken,

Your heart loved enough for the two of us.

You taught me to live again,

To feel again.

So I will never forget

How we flew.
