This is a poem I wrote a few days ago and I wanted to share it with all of you out there. It's a poem of what a demon might want and how a normal day goes for him. It is fictional of course.

I have no right, but I want it more than anything

The beauty, the majesty of the angel’s wings

To fly high in the sky

With my head in the clouds

That is why

I am dreaming out loud

I imagine the sun shining on my back

Reflecting off the feather’s color, Pitch Black

Then I open my eyes it is back to reality

Where all of the people now stare at me

I run off somewhere away from their sight

Hiding, tail between my legs, in my fright

Then a flash of gold

And a glitter of light

Then low and behold

I look to my right

The angel, she is now resting in a nearby tree

She opens her eyes to glance at me

She sees my tail

And to my delight

She doesn’t wail

Or run away in fright

She floats down majestically

To my side

She looks happily at me

With those sky-blue eyes

I look back into them, nearly falling into a trance

But I snap out of it in time to catch a glance

Of the source of her power

The rosary bead on the chain necklace near her breast

I know this is my chance to rise above the rest

I reach for without thought, but before I could get it

She grabs my hand, and surprises me with a huge kick

Right near gut, but just a little lower down

I knew she was onto me, but look at me now

She flew off and showed her true self

A succubus, just trying to some fools to hell

Well I am fool, and I got it pretty hard

Right in the family jewels, now more like the family shards…
