It may be hard to see the light in it,
Upon the trail, but after fires lit,
If one stares along the map and the path,
And prays hard enough upon the Sabbath,
Despite all the blisters and aching feet
The smell in the air can be rather sweet.
The blisters will heal and skin thicken there,
One knows the map better know, it's a where-
A corporeal connection of whens,
Whens put together by even more thens.
Divine. Beautiful. Paramountly so.
It's all there, but you would not know
Unless you look with more than just your brain-
It is the heart that makes us truey sane.
If it's open, the darkness cannot stay,
But if not, it will never go away.
